FDI in Retail - Bitter Questions

1. Why it is so that FDI in Retail is the only solution on this earth for all the economic problems of India ? Do we Indians really need White Traders to manage Wholesale & Retail market sector of our Nation ? Are we Indians, so incapable that we can not manage & find solutions of economic problems of our Nation ourselves ?

2. Do India really needs White Skin Traders to procure products of Indian Farmers and to sell it  to Indian Consumers ?  What for Food Corporation of India and Public Distribution System are ? Has Government failed to manage these both well ? Do we really need White Traders to take over India's food sector ? Is it wise to give the control of the most basic need "Food"  of 1.2 billion Indians into the hands of Foreigners ?

3. Is FDI in Retail is the only answer to Farmers' suicides and Inflation ? Are only middlemen responsible for this ? Excessive dependency on rains, mismanaged irrigation facilities, corruption hit & politically motivated export import policies, lack of vision & will to implement, develop and make good use of Food Corporation of India and Public Distribution System etc are many factors which play a major role into this.

4. Will these White Traders be able to procure Products of Farmers without any help & guidance of middlemen in India ? If middlemen are so evil, let us first kick out middlemen of Defense & Arms Deals. Mota Maal ?

5. Do these White Traders only in this world can develop infrastructure facilities like cold storage etc for farmers ? No one else can ? Any special technology required for this which we don't have ?

6. What is the guarantee that these White Traders will pay fair prices to farmers  and will sell on fair prices to Consumers ? Are they coming here for social service ?

7. Do India really need White Skin Traders to create competition in market ? Is this the only solution to make wide range of choices  available to Indian Consumers ? Is this the only way to make cheap products available for Indian Consumers ?

8. Is this FDI in Retail so powerful, that it can develop all kinds of Infrastructures in a Nation of 1.2 Billion people, which Government of India failed to develop in 65 years ?

9. When, it is mandatory for these White Traders to procure only 30% of their purchases from within India, and they are free to procure 70% of their purchases from anywhere in the world, How can anyone ensure level playing ground for Indian Small Manufacturing Enterprises, Middle Class Wholesale and Retail Business Sector ?

10. Why a misinformation campaign is going on that these White Traders and FDI in Retail will be beneficial to Indian Farmers like anything ? Are these White Traders going to deal in Food Products only ? No. They will be selling everything which can be sold in a modern departmental store. From pin to elephant. Everything.

11. When these White Traders are free to procure 70% of their purchases from anywhere in the world, how can anyone expect them to create employment for Indians ? Instead, it will create devastating huge unemployment in Indian Small Manufacturing Enterprises, Wholesale and Retail Sectors.

12. These White Traders will hold 51% stake. Sometimes I wonder who will hold another 49% stake ? Indian Baba Log ? Is this the reason to show FDI in Retail as the only good thing which can happen to India ? Indian Elite Class & Indian Political Class have their eyes fixed on this 49% and they know & understand very well that as soon as these MNCs arrive, there will be huge opportunities available for Corruption & Mota Maal. From Land deals to Rich & Big Middlemen for all operations  of MNCs, each & everything will be mines of Corruption.

13. Is FDI in Retail being used as back door entry to Indian Black Money back into India as White Money ?  Is it an desperate attempt to help USA & its MNCs to revive their economical health as it comes just after the "Silent Tragic Figure" article in The Washington Post and UPA Chairperson's USA visit for unknown reasons ? Is the Government compromising with the national interest and livelihood of billions of Indians under the pressure & blackmailing tactics of USA & International Financial Institutions ?

14. Those who advocate global market, fair competition, and level playing field,  think that Indian Small Manufacturing Enterprises, Middle Class Wholesale & Retail Sector can stand firm in competition with Huge Financial Strength, & Global Reach of these Giant Multi National Companies  They will be proven wrong when these centuries old strong back bone sectors of Indian Economy will be destroyed completely by these White Traders.

15. FDI in Retail will bring in investments. Government of India needs money. Is this the wise solution ? Why not the Government stops its wasteful expenditures  and dangerous schemes like MNREGA ?  Schemes like MNERGA is making People of India helpless, doodle, parasites, crippled and unusable. Schemes like this is creating a huge labor shortage in Industrial Sectors.  But yes definitely promoting Corruption and Vote Bank Politics. We all know that the Government is planning to bring in Food Security Bill also. This will make the Government more money starved but definitely make people "Parasite Vote Bank"  And of course yes,  A control over corruption & scams which runs into lac of crores can be of some help.

Another Sin to cover up previous Sin....... And it goes on & on.........

Bitter Lesson From History - FDI in Retail.

It can be called orthodox & conservative thinking, but in my views we must take lessons from history. This is also true that who can be the better teacher than the history itself.

Those who are supporting Foreign Direct Investment, directly or indirectly are ignorant and unaware. Or may be many are knowingly acting as ignorant for the secret reasons better known to them only.

We are independent since 65 years. In the history of humanity, world and geopolitics time of 65 years is a very small period.  A very small event or action may create big history but it may take hundreds of years  to unfold.

This story begins with a small event 400 years back when Ships belonging to the East India Company arriving in India docked at Surat, which was established as a trade transit point in 1608.  In 1612, a "Commercial Treaty" between Sir Thomas Roe of East India Company and than Mughal Emperor Nuruddin Saleem Jahangir was signed. East India Company got exclusive rights to reside and build factories in Surat and other areas of Mughal Empire.  In return, the East India Company offered to provide the Emperor with Goods and Rarities from the European Market. By year 1762 the East India Company succeeded in establishing its monopoly over Indian subcontinent by defeating other European Colonial Powers.

Indian Rebellion of 1857 resulted in widespread devastation in India & condemnation of East India Company for permitting events to occur. British Government nationalized the East India Company. The Company lost all its administrative powers. Company's all possessions in India, including its armed forces, were taken over by the Crown as provisions of the Government of India Act 1858. The system of governance was instituted in 1858, rule of the British East India Company was transferred to Crown in person of Queen Victoria.

So the actual British Raj was established over India in 1858.

The story which started with a simple "Commercial Treaty" in 1612 ended in establishment of British Raj in 1858.... It took 246 Years.

India got freedom from British Raj in 1947. So it took another 89 years to get rid of those Europeans who came in guise of Traders.

So a "Commercial Treaty" between Sir Thomas Roe of East India Company and Mughal Emperor Jahangir created history of 335 years of slavery for Indian Sub Continent.   This is the power of even a small event, action or decision which can create history. This is the time it can take as much as 335 years to unfold completely.

It is just 65 years, that we are free & independent and Sri Manmohan Singh has committed the same mistake in 2012, committed by Mughal Emperor Jahangir in 1612. The decision to allow FDI in Retail in 2012 is very much similar to the decision taken by Mughal Emperor Jahangir in 1612,  in  the context of changed times and methods of business. History repeats after 400 years.

Can anyone forecast, predict, imagine or assume the situation & condition of Geopolitics of this world after 65 or 100 or 200 years from now ? I don't think so.

Sri Manmohan Singh , by issuing Notification of FDI in Retail, on 20 September, 2012 made it sure that he goes down in history of India as the Second Jahangir.

I have no doubt, and rest assured, after 100-200 years, Sri Manmohan Singh will be remembered for what he did on 20, September, 2012, in the same way, as we remember Mughal Emperor Jahangir today for what he did in 1612.

Cruel Game with Feelings & Emotions.

Have you ever met  or came across any Chronic Flirt Woman who is Merciless, Ruthless & out to get your heart ? Funny thing is, all guys fall for her, and  her deceiving traps.  So why do all of us fall prey to these flirting predators, the Chronic Flirt Women. ? Why these Chronic Flirt Women act as if flirting  were their full-time career ?  And why is it that when a man acts the same way with women -- flirting -- we brand him a creep that just wants action ? So why do women do this ?

One reason is insecurity in the Chronic Flirt Woman. . It usually seems to boil down to a lack of self-confidence, or women having men around chasing and pursuing them is enjoyable, to say the least, and is considered "backup." These are men that women enjoy talking to, having a good time with, but are either not attracted to, or feel that they were too easy to get. It becomes easy for the woman because she knows he is interested, she knows he would do almost anything for her, and she knows or rather thinks that he will be around when and if she is ever ready for him.  It's no surprise that having male admirers around can raise a woman's confidence. And what better way to boost her confidence level, when she feels that she is lonely and has no special guy around, than the reminder that there are guys nearby that are interested in her ?

Having male admirers is also an accessory. There is something appealing about a woman who has a group of "fans." Women use this as a way to attract other men. Flirting with men can give women a sense of security, empowerment and aggressiveness, and they will do so until that man falls for them. Even though she may not be attracted to him and would not date him under any circumstances, he becomes more attractive once he no longer makes the woman the center of his world.

Flirting and having men fall for women is almost a game; a challenge that the Chronic Flirt Women. like to play with themselves. They'll flirt to see if "they have still got it,"  regardless of whether or not they are interested in the guy in question. . Once the men they flirt with, do fall for them and their ploy, these women practically give themselves another point on the scoreboard. After getting the man fallen for them these Chronic Flirt Women use all their tantrums to keep the prey under their control as much and as long it is possible. Once they win the game, the Chronic Flirt Women kicks out the fallen man from their priority list, and starts the new game with someone else. A search for the new prey begins again.

These Chronic Flirt Women are Seductive Snakes, always Hungry for Prey.  For them feelings and emotions has no value. They look at it as a mere fun & game purely. Her flirting games does not really mean that she is attracted, wants you, needs you, likes you, loves you. She is not really looking for any action too. It is just a game to satisfy her ego that she is capable to make any man fall for her.

These Chronic Flirting Women play Cruel Games with Feelings & Emotions of Men.

I would like to make it clear here that ,  Not all women are like this of course; I am only referring to those the Chronic Flirt Women who flirt for no one's benefit but their own.

Bitter Truth of Indian Democracy.

Union of India have 28 states, and few UTs.

How many families politically control and rule these ?

Assess state wise. Take central & regional parties both into account. Look at High Command of these parties. Than count the families.

In this assessment elected representatives (MLAs / MPs) matters no where. Because they are nothing more than puppets of Party High Command.

After vast assessment its clear that there are major 25 political parties playing the game at national and regional level. Smaller and irrelevant players not taken into account.

These 25 major political parties including national & regional both are : 1. Congress 2. BJP 3. SP 4. BSP 5. RLD 6. SS 7. NCP 8. MNS 9. RJD 10. JD ( U ) 11. LJP 12. TRS 13. TDP 14. DMK 15. AIADMK 16. JD ( S ) 17. TMC 18. Communists Left 19. BJD 20. JMM 21. AGP 22. Akali ( Badal ) 23. INLD 24. NC 25. PDP.

Out of these 25 major Political Players at national & regional level we can very easily identify 5 political parties which do not follow the Family & Dynastic High Command Culture. Remaining 20 Political Parties are controlled and managed by Individuals, Families or Dynasties as it is their private family business.

These 20 Political Parties do not follow inner party democracy in its true meaning and spirit. Dynastic Family Individual Party High Command Culture is their style of functioning.

Elected representatives ( MPs / MLAs ) of these 20 political parties are not Peoples' Representatives. Actually they are Representatives Puppets and slaves of their Party High Command.

In other words we can say that those 20 Families / Dynasties / Individuals, who control these 20 Political Parties and Elected Representatives to Parliament / State Assemblies of these 20 political parties are ruling over this nation like Monarchs, Emperors and Kings.

Hence India is not a Democracy. It is joint Kingdom of 20 Dynasties / Families / Individuals. To be very liberal we can call it Parliamentary Monarchy but for sure Not Parliamentary Democracy. And we are sleeping. Perhaps we are Happy to be and remain Slaves.

First Poem
