On 2 February 1835, in his address to British Parliament, Lord Macaulay said about India as under:-
"I have traveled across the length and breadth of India and I have not seen one person who is a beggar, who is a thief. Such wealth I have seen in this country. Such high moral values, people of such caliber, that I do not think, we would ever conquer this country, unless we break the very backbone of this nation, which is her spiritual and cultural heritage, and, therefore, I propose that we replace her old and ancient education system, her culture, for if the Indians think that all that is foreign and English is good and greater than their own. They will lose their self esteem , their native culture, and they will become, what we want them, A Truly Dominated Nation".
Are we not in self destruction mode today?. What we are doing ? What our rulers are doing ? What all the four pillars of Indian Democracy are doing ?

Power through Wealth and Wealth through Power. Divide & Rule. Dividing our nation and society on the lines of Religions, Castes, Regions, Languages, and Ideologies. Injecting hatred into the minds & hearts of our fellow Indians. Promoting Capitalism and Consumerism in the name of Development. With the help of Television and Advertisement Commercials. Trying to sell Unnecessary Dreams and Illusions. Confusing Common People to seek Happiness in Materialistic Comforts and Luxuries. Vulgar display of Wealth by Rich, Powerful and Famous forces General Public to target their lives towards same but wrong direction. Rich, Famous and Powerful being given Respect & Importance in Society, instead of Wise, Talented and Learned. . Paralyzing, Disabling and Making People Slave through Vote Politics of Reservation, Quota, Appeasement of certain Communities, and Free Schemes. Promoting Western Culture, Lifestyle, Foods, Clothing, and Festivals whether Country & People are ready to accept & adjust with it or not. Inclusive Growth is just a Slogan. Economic Gap among Elite Class, Middle Class and Lower Class is increasing with each passing day. Impacts and Ill Effects of blind Promotion & Acceptance of Western Culture are clearly visible in Nation, Economy, and Society in general. Intellectual, Ideological, and Cultural Gap is growing between Elite, Middle and Lower Classes of the same Nation. .
Hence all Conflicts and Clashes.
Are we moving in right direction ? Will we ever learn any lesson from history ? Don't you think that Words of Lord Macaulay are perfect lesson for us today even after 178 years ?

1. सत्ता से धन और धन से सत्ता , फूट डालो और शासन करो, धर्म, जाति, क्षेत्र, भाषा, और विचारधाराओं के आधार पर हमारे राष्ट्र और समाज को विभाजित करने वाली राजनीति , सिर्फ राजनीति और वोट के लिए साथी भारतीयो के दिलों व दिमाग में नफरत भरना
2. विकास के नाम पर पूंजीवाद व उपभोक्तावाद को बढ़ावा
3, टेलीविजन व विज्ञापनों के सहारे सपने और छलावे बेचने का प्रयास
4. भौतिक सुख सुविधाओं व ऐशोआराम में ख़ुशी तलाश करने के लिए भ्रमित जनता
5. धनवान बलवान व नामी लोगो द्वारा धन बल के भौंडे प्रदर्शन को आम जनता द्वारा अपने लिए लक्ष्य बना लेना
6. समाज में गुणों व गुणवानो की जगह धन बल व नाम और धनवानों बलवानो व नामवानो को महत्त्व व सम्मान
7. वोट बटोरने की राजनीति के तहत आरक्षण, समुदाय विशेष का तुस्टीकरण , विभिन्न मुफ्त योजनाओं द्वारा जनता को पंगु व गुलाम बनाने का प्रयास
8. पाश्चात्य संस्कृति खान पान रहन सहन पहनावों व त्योंहारो को बढ़ावा , चाहे देश समाज व लोग इसके लिए तैयार हो या फिर ना हो
9. समावेशी विकास सिर्फ एक नारा , उच्च वर्ग मध्यम वर्ग व निम्न वर्ग के बीच दिनोदिन बढ़ती आर्थिक खाई
10. पाश्चात्य संस्कृति के अन्धानुकरण का कुप्रभाव , उच्च माध्यम व निम्न वर्गों के बीच बढ़ती बोद्धिक वैचारिक व सांस्कृतिक खाई
